The Heart of the Onion.
Our newsletter on leadership, transformation, and what lies beneath the surface.

Why
„The Heart of the Onion“?
An onion has many layers. The outermost one is visible immediately. It is dry and easy to peel away. Beneath it are the real layers. This is where things become interesting. Juicy. Sometimes tearful.
In organizations, it is the same. The outer layer: strategy, processes, numbers.
The core: trust, mindset, relationships, and courage.

What The Heart of the Onion is — and what it is not.
What is The Heart of the Onion?
Our newsletter. Published irregularly, but always with substance. We write about leadership, transformation, and what is really happening inside organizations. No “how-to” lists, no motivational quotes — sometimes uncomfortable instead.
Why is it called “Heart of the Onion”?
Because real change — like an onion — has to be peeled back layer by layer. The outer layer is what everyone talks about: strategy, processes, structures. The core is what really matters: trust, mindset, relationships, courage. That is where we want to go.
How often is the newsletter sent?
Monthly to every six weeks, depending on the topic. We send it when we have something to say. Not because the calendar demands it.
Can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
At any time with one click. No pressure, no follow-up. If our impulses are no longer a fit, that is no problem.
Is the newsletter in German or English?
The newsletter is published in German. Individual issues are bilingual when the topic calls for it.
